Thema: strong clans getting stronger

I have noticed that there are some very strong clans with a lot of members. New players joining a clan would look at the best clans to join so they would have protection while building, which in the future makes them grow into a strong clan member and therefore making that clan stronger.

Then we have clans with alliances, again this makes the lesser clan stronger and eventually all the smaller ranked clans may disappear, which means we will all be allied to each other and no one to battle with.

My suggestion would be that every clan is limited to the number of members, it would have to on the top 50 as low ranked clans would need members but as they come and go then maybe a limit of 20 for any clan above 50 and 10 for the clans below, or all to have only 10 members. Another thought is that there is to be no allies.

I would be interested to know the thoughts of all.

number of members in a clan is irrelevant. 3 clans of 20 players each can be allied and become one clan of 60, even if in-game they're 3 different clans.

And just how do you propose to force clans to attack eachother? If 2 clan choose to be allied and not attack eachother, nobody cant do anything about that.

I agree with whamra. Whatever diplomatic relations clans choose to uphold with each other is up to them. If the other clans a have a problem with it, they can just make their own alliance, and have a huge alliance war!

you know this will never happen. after months of building villages noone will risk them being destroyed within few hours just like that.

If a situation arose where there were only a group of clans left {I have noticed how many abondond villages there are} due to the weaker clans being destroyed or weekend by clan members leaving the game then a situation od  this may occur.
A is aligned to C who is aligned to E who is aligned to G who is aligned to B who is aligned to D who is aligned to F, so who attacks who?
In the long term this is going to happen, we will all be friends.

Honestly I think some sort of incentive would work.  ie, if two similar sized clans attack each other they would be better off than if they did not attack each other.  As long as it is advantages to form huge alliances, people are going to form huge alliances.  But if it is less attractive than other options, it will be hard to stay in them.

It has happened several times, and it will probably happen more.  Only thing is the bigger the clans, the messier things get.

Your village is 38100% bigger than the defending village. You will probably lose 90 honour by attacking this village. If someone of your clan attacked this village earlier, every clan member will lose honour.

Exterminated a few allready... looking forward to the war part now!
