Thema: stuff I think needs done

These are things i think that need to be done stop the games slow death and make it grow again.

1. I think the forum mods need to be able to remove all the spam.

2. All bugs need fixed before anything new is added.

3. Better way to reset your village. One free village move per server or fix the reset system so you don't have to reset a lot to just find an ok spot.

4. Balance issues still need fixed. Still can make a ton of troops without having to worry about food or anything else. Now humans are more powerful than Dark Elfs at lower levels. In my opinion troops on each side should closer in strength like stable1.

5. Hard code into the game anti-cheating rules. People with same ip can't send or do anything with each other.

6. Chat filter, chat and pm report button, and Chat logs save for admins and mods.

7. Advertise the game in a lot of places.

I agree with all bowser has said. I would be concerned as a new player that the honour points loss favours the big players. I can attack frodo and lose 4 points I am 11840 he is 7330

I have been told by many that any suggestions are a waste of time because nothing will be done, is this true? if it is then why would anyone play the game, if not then lets all hope the changes urgently needed are changed within a day or so.
The game is on a downhill slide so the devs must do something, take urgent action and fix the problems.
A new player comes in and many do not read the instructions, 99% accept their village placement, a warning/board should be posted so they know what to look for and have 1 or 2 choices of where they want to go.

There is one improvement I think should be done but it is not as important as Bowsers list.
When there is a battle and the attacker is repelled why not allow the defender to have all the weapons and armour the attacker lost, if the attacker wins then they get the equipment.
If it is human against elves then so be it, someone in that village will be one or the other.too bad if it is slings and leather smile

Honour problem needs fixed right away. Large villages able to attack small villages without honour loss. This problem needs attention NOW.

This is a hobby project, a pretty succesful hobbyproject but still. We, the devs, have professional and private lives.
But we DO listen to well argumenten suggestions.
When they are implemented depends on the sytuation in our lives. smile

Thank you for replying and I can understand what you have said but this game is a game that people pay money into to keep it going so it becomes a business, and we the players are your customers so be it a hobbyproject it is a business that asks for money and so any problems your customers see and report must be acted on.
If that is too hard to do because of other commitments then you should not have a game where players have to buy runes or have a premium account. Some players would spend a lot of moey, the long term players are usually the players that spend the most so you are obliged to make sure the game is free of faults and any problem noted by the players must be attended to.

We have a problem with honour, too many players are being destroyed by powerfull players, I would say that is urgent as if it is not fixed players will leave and find other games to play.

All that money goes to the server, sometimes we don't even have enough. and it comes from our pockets.
But you are right of course, we would like to fix all bugs (and work more on dolumar in general)

I suggest you create a new topic just about honour, and we can have a discusion about how to best fix it.
Maybe its quite easy to fix.

Vilmore I think there is something wrong in the script or a bug. I believe he is saying mostly that it simply just isn't happening anymore. No honor loss at all.
